Now Announcing: Monson Miracle Week

It's been the best of times and the worst of times. Due to the fact that so may miracles have happened this weekend Dawnalyn and I decided to observe the week of August 20th - 27th as Monson Miracle Week.

The events that transpired during this time inspired us to do the same. The Lord is always watchful over us and knows exactly what we need when we need it.

I was looking forward to having Super Saturday here in St. George, when caught wind that Jim Piccolo, President and CEO of Nouveau Riche, would be in town and all that were in Utah were to attend, if they could, Super Saturday in Salt Lake City. We were told this on Monday. I was trying to figure out how I was going to manage getting up there and back. It just so happened to be my dad's birthday and also a family reunion for Dawnalyn's side of the family. I was stressing over things that I did not necessarily have in my control. So I prayed at the temple that some money would just fall in my lap. So on with the miracles:

Miracle 1- On Thursday before our meeting for NR I received a call from Kendall Turner, friend and colleague with NR. He called to see if we had any Success magazines. The ones with the new $74 Million dollar campus in them. I told him that we did and he said that he needed a package. I told him that I would get him some that night. When he approached me to pay for them I told him that it would be about $35. He said that that was too little, so I charged him $2/ magazine which the total was $50. With that I was able to get gas and we made it to Ogden on that tank of gas.

(As we left St. George we said a prayer that we would travel safely and that we would be able to have another miracle to be able to eat on Saturday and get home.)

Miracle 2- I went to my meeting and Dawnalyn went to her reunion with the girls. Mom and I didn't eat that Saturday and I had a prayer in my heart that the getting home miracle would happen. Mom spoke with one of our mentors and he said that he was unfortunately unable to help us. So we went to another mentor and good friend of mine. Mom talked to him and he said that he would see what he could do for us. He was able to talk with the leadership and they were able to pool some money together and get the both of us home. When the event was over I pulled this mentor aside and gave him a huge teddy bear of a hug. I thanked him and told him that on our way up that we had prayed for a miracle to happen and he said that he was happy to be a part of it. He said that I must have had quite a bit of faith to be able to have it happen. A funny thing that he said during his presentation: "Let go and let God!" I have since gathered a better understanding of what that means now.

Miracle 3- SO we made it home early on Sunday morning and found a little nastygram on our door that said paraphrasing : we need rent or move out by Monday the 25th by midnight. As you can imagine my heart sunk and my brain went into a frazzle. I decided to pray and have the same faith that I had had the 2 consecutive days before and to let go and let God. I felt like I needed to text a few friends and mentors to see if any of my "angel investor" friends could help. As I was getting ready for church and other duties that I needed to take care of, the names of my close friends parents came to mind. About 10 minutes later mom called me and mentioned their names to me as well. I knew at that point that I needed to call them. We spoke for a little while and she said that she needed to check with her husband. I received a call later that night and they said they could help. Their help was just enough to take care of what I needed to cover.

The Lord is truly looking out for our well being. I know for sure He is always watching and making sure we are taken care of.

If you would care to join us, again observing the 20th- 27th of August, and make a miracle happen, everyday that week if possible, I know we can help to change many lives.

I guess I'll get on the band wagon!

Ok Ok. I guess I will get on the band wagon and start blogging.

Dawnalyn and I have now been married for 4 years and we are still in love!!! We have 3 beautiful kids. They are all boys except for 3 of them.

We are in St. George still and I am still doing Nouveau Riche. You know the Lord is looking out for you when you have two or three people out of the blue either call or text you to see if everything is ok.

A pretty cool thing happened to me the other day. I was at a Nouveau Riche meeting and a good friend and mentor of mine, Dave Dodart, singled me out of everyone in the room and said," I believe that the man in the back of the room doing our sound tonight, Andrew Monson, will be in the top 10 Millionaires soon!"

That coming from a Millionaire himself is quite a compliment and a lot to live up to. That has changed my life to this point.

Pardon me while I get up on my soap box for a minute: I don't care what other say about what I am doing. I don't care if you think it is a SCAM. I don't care if you think it is a MLM. I don't care if you think I SHOULDN'T DO IT. My opinion is is that you are just jealous because I am going to be making something of myself in this direct marketing opportunity as opposed to siting there at a Just Over Broke JOB that I hate which is the biggest MLM EVER! Corporate America is the BIGGEST MLM EVER!!! Lets think about it for a minute: you are at the bottom working for your boss which is under another manager, which is under a department head, which is under an assistant store manager, which is under the store manager or floor manager, who is under someone else, who is under someone else, who is under someone else, who is under the President of the company so you are making him wealthy instead of yourself.

A quote that I love is from the movie "Network" and it goes a little something like this: "I'm as mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it any more!" If you have no clue what I am talking about here is the clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dib2-HBsF08

The last thing I will say is: Either you will come and get wealthy with me or you will watch me do it! Contact me if you want to get involved.

I'm off my soap box now.

Don't worry all my blogs won't be like this. This is my first one and I am just letting some steam off my chest.

Until next time...
